“Ketahuilah, sesungguhnya pada setiap jasad ada sekerat daging, apabila dia baik maka baik seluruh anggota jasad, apabila dia jelek maka jelek semua anggota jasad, ketahuilah dialah hati.” (HR. Bukhori)
Rite now, I'm going to write about heart diseases. Not literally, but in islamic concepts. Okay, so there are a few parts that related to heart diseases. As muslims, we must always keep our hearts away from these horrible diseases. Sometimes we may not even realised that we had those diseases. So, I made a little research and post it in here. If you are reading this, please take notice about it and spread to others..
“ Heart is the minister who is advising “ (al-qolbu wazeerun naaseh).
The quote actually means that even we sees human do the action, its the heart which told them what to do. I don't deny the function of brain to stimulate the muscle cell to cause friction and produce movements. Yes, I learned Biology.:) But what i'm trying to stress here is most of people do what their hearts desires too. Ever heard " do what your heart wants to do" statement? That is what I meant!
The diseases of heart are : SNOB, ENVY & U'JUB
First, let me explain more about 'snob disease'. It is a FEELING where a person feel he (assume the person is a guy) is the most great person in the universe. He think that there is no one can outstand in him in everything or in his specialities. This is where he starts to underestimate and looked-down to other people, which all of us know is not the nicest thing to do. Here is some of Allah's firman to prove the necessity to be a humble person and a down-to-earth person.
Second is about the 'envy disease'. In my opinion, this is the most dangerous disease among from the others. It just encourage people to do everything even the stupidest actions for mankind to think. I know I may exaggerate things, but hey! its true though and i'm not joking. Envy can be divided on two which is : MINOR envy and MAJOR envy.
The minor envy is actually a positive which drives people to work harder to get what the person desires. So, it is a POSITIVE thing! However, the major envy work the otherway around. It is a NEGATIVE thing! This kind of envy will drives people to do ANYTHING in order to get what they want and the others don't! They don't just work hard to get what they want, they work hard to destroy the other persons right. Hopefully most of us has the minor envy and not the major ones.
Waspadalah terhadap hasud (iri dan dengki), sesungguhnya hasud mengikis pahala-pahala sebagaimana api memakan kayu. (HR. Abu Dawud)
“Dan dari kejahatan pendengki bila ia dengki.” [Al Falaq 5]
Last but not least is the 'u'jub disease'. Okay, not all of people were unware of what does it means. It is taken from Arabic word which means the person who thinks they are the greatest. This type of disease do not make the person to look down the others like snob. It just make the person fell TOO good about themselves until they forget that there is NO ONE is PERFECT. This may dangerously lead to syirik. It happened when he/she think they are greater than God himself. That is why this is a very very dangerous disease.
The cure : A lot!
I think there is no need for me to elaborate, so i'm going to list.

(HR. Ibnu Abi Ashim)
Remember! Its never too late for anything..
